Please note! These foldable picnic sets are designed for indoor use. The seats and table tops have been made from wood that is glued together so that the benches are easy to clean. Painted and glued wood however, are not resistant to outdoor use, the seats and table tops can start to crack. Therefore, we do not provide ant guarantee on this. Material
Wood works, the degree in which this happens, depends on the room in which the set will be placed. As a result of changes in humidity and/or temperature, wood shrinks or expands. Large differences can lead to cracks and splits in the wood, which is why it is important to keep the temperature and humidity at a constant level. (Tools to ensure a constant humidity level are water bowls for the heating or a humidifier.
Make sure you picnic set is not placed against a radiator or air conditioner. To prevent your table top from scratches, you can decide to use coasters.
Wood is a natural product that cannot be forced. If you think a crack or tear in your wooden bench is a big problem, you might be better off not to buy a wooden bench. Metal or plastic will then be a better option for you, as we cannot guarantee the natural working of wood.
Delivery
Will you order 1 set? Then you will receive 2 parcels. The first parcel will contain the table and measures 128 x 58 x 11 cm. The box weighs 16 kg. The second parcel will contain the 2 benches and measure 128 x 28 x 16 cm. This box weighs 16 kg.
This product will be delivered with DPD. DPD will come to your door once. Are you not at home and is it not possible to deliver your parcel at your neighbours? Depending on the size and weight of your parcel, it will either be offered to you again or it will go to a parcel shop.
Would you like to leave a comment to the driver (for example that you doorbell does not work or that it can be delivered to the neighbours)? Then please leave a note at your front door.
Unfortunately it is not possible for us to hand the driver extra information before delivery. If you would like to know more about DPD, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Assembly
Once you have received your bench, you only need to unpack it. All parts have already been assembled so your bench is ready to be used! Don’t forget to order a set of floor protectors; for only a few euros you can prevent damages to your floor as well as the layer of lacquer of your frame!
