Our light green chair Maximus is inspired on the well know Smaland chairs by Yngve Ekstrom (1913-1988). The Swedisch architect, woodworker and furniture designer from Hagafors, started working in the oldest furniture factory of Sweden, the Hagafors Stol Fabric, at the age of 13.
The elegant shape of the Maximus chair shows classic simplicity, and the rustic vintage design gives a typical Scandinavian look. Because of its modern look, the Maximus dining chair will feel at home in nearly every dining room, living room or bedroom!
The rich history of this chair combined with the elegant shapes were a reason for us to breathe new life into this classic chair. Maximus is, besides soft green, also available in the colours ivory, black, soft grey, clear varnish and in soft pink.

Material
Chair maximus is produced in Europa and made of European beech wood. The chair arrives fully assembled, the only thing you will have to, is unpack. We have already screwed floor protectors under the legs of the chair so that neither the chair, nor the floor will get damaged.
The seat height of the Maximus is 47 cm and can therefore be used on nearly all dining tables. The saddle-shaped seat has an extra curve for a perfect, comfortable sit.
Maximus is made of the natural product beech wood, this means that you can find irregularities in either the wood or the paint. When you think this might be a problem for you, then it is better not to choose a wooden chair. Plastic or aluminium will then be a better choice instead.
Delivery
We can deliver the chairs when you order 2 or more chairs. The chairs will be send in a box of 50 x 60 x 95 cm. The chairs weigh approximately 7 kg each. Of course, you can order as many as you like. When you order 8 chairs or more, we will ship them on a pallet.
This product usually is delivered by our carrier TSN Groen. TSN will contact you to make an appointment for delivery. There are various extra options that you can book for a small fee, such as the return of packaging material, a specific time window and evening or weekend delivery.
Assembly
In contrast to cheaper models form Asia, these chairs are delivered fully assembled so you can start using them immediately!
