Max XXL metal garden chair
It all started with the idea of developing our own garden chair. Jeroen wanted to create a sturdy, stackable outdoor chair suitable for both home use and the hospitality industry. He found many existing terrace chairs too small, too fragile, and with seating positions that were simply too low. Together with one of our trusted manufacturers, the first sample was developed: a metal chair that finally met Jeroen’s standards.
The backrest was made extra high (81 cm) and the seat extra wide (54 cm). Thanks to the strong metal construction and the XXL-sized design, the chair can support up to 150 kg with ease. The rounded shapes in both the seat and the backrest provide maximum seating comfort.
The very first design of this dining chair was received so enthusiastically that we immediately decided to produce it in five colours. We chose black, olive green, ochre yellow, mouse grey, and rust brown, so the colours could also be beautifully mixed and matched. Since then, we have added cactus, ivory, and white to the collection, with orange already planned for next season. And with a matching seat cushion, those evenings with friends in the garden can last forever.

Metal garden bench in Max style
Not long after the introduction of the metal garden chair Max XXL, we started receiving the first questions about whether we also had a garden bench in the same material and modern colours. So shortly after the launch of the Max chair, the metal garden bench Max joined the collection.
Just like the chair, the bench was built with the same strong construction, featuring an extra high backrest and an extra wide seat. And once again, the rounded shapes in the metal seat and backrest provide wonderfully comfortable seating.
Add a matching bench cushion and the comfort level goes up even further. Today, Bench Max is available in 7 colours, so there is always one that perfectly matches your style.

A complete range of garden furniture, including tables
Of course, great dining chairs deserve a practical and comfortable table to match. Our Max chairs look fantastic alongside a beautiful wooden table, but a table of our own simply could not be missing from the collection. That is why, alongside the metal garden chair and metal garden bench, we have now also developed two different table sizes in several well-known Max colours.
The 80 x 80 cm table is perfect as a cosy set with two chairs, for example in a front garden or a charming corner of the terrace. The 150 cm table comfortably fits 4 to 6 dining chairs, making it ideal for long dinners and relaxed outdoor moments with the whole family.
In the meantime, we have also added a backless Max bench and a matching stool to the Max family. With all these outdoor furniture pieces, you can mix and match endlessly to create the perfect garden set for your outdoor space.

Are you looking for a picnic table with the same great qualities as our metal outdoor furniture line Max? Alongside the Max collection, we also offer a metal picnic table available in the same signature colours as the rest of the Max family.
A metal picnic table is tougher, stronger, and heavier than materials such as wood or aluminium. In addition, the table is galvanised and powder coated, making it less sensitive to weather conditions. This makes the steel picnic table perfectly suited for outdoor use and ideal for intensive use in hospitality settings as well.
The rounded shapes of Picnic Table Max not only give the table a modern appearance, but also make it especially comfortable and practical to use. There are no sharp corners on the seats or tabletop, making it a perfect choice for families with children. The table also features an open entry design, so everyone can easily take a seat.
The metal surfaces are easy to clean with a simple soapy cloth, making these tables wonderfully low maintenance too. Pretty ideal, right?
Our latest addition: the lounge chair!
Enjoying the sunshine on your balcony, reading a good book in the garden, or having drinks outside with friends? When it comes to relaxing outdoors, one thing matters most: your lounge chair has to be seriously comfortable. That is exactly why we added a lounge chair to our comfortable Max collection.
Our XXL Max lounge chairs are made for pure relaxation. The curved shapes in the metal seat and backrest provide maximum comfort, while the extra reclined backrest and extra wide seat (58 cm) create an active lounge position: relaxed and comfortable, without having to struggle to get back up again.
The Max lounge chair is available in three signature Max colours: ochre yellow, black, and olive green. To complete the setup, you can also order a matching Max side table in the same colour, which doubles perfectly as a footrest ;-)
