The warm colour of terracotta
Sunny, earthy and full of character. Terracotta is a colour that instantly brings warmth to your garden, terrace or balcony. Surrounded by fresh greenery, colourful flowers and natural materials, this warm shade feels completely at home. That is why terracotta simply had to be part of our MAX collection.
Terracotta brings to mind sun-baked earth, warm summer days and that unmistakable Mediterranean atmosphere. The colour sits somewhere between orange, red and brown, giving it a natural sense of warmth.
And outdoors, that warmth really comes into its own. Terracotta creates a beautiful contrast with green plants and flowers, while also pairing effortlessly with wood, stone and other natural materials.
At MaximaVida, we love colour. Not as a subtle detail that quietly appears somewhere, but as a way to give your garden, terrace or balcony personality. Because outdoors is not just a backdrop. It is a place to live. For that first coffee in the sun, a spontaneous lunch, drinks that last just a little longer, or simply a quiet moment to yourself. Our furniture is made to be part of it.

New: the MAX collection in terracotta
That is why we are adding a new colour to our MAX collection: terracotta.
Anyone who thinks earthy tones always have to be calm and understated has not taken a proper look at terracotta. This colour can actually be surprisingly bold.
vtwonen also puts terracotta firmly in the spotlight with its Spicy Terra trend. Here, terra is combined with other warm shades such as ochre, orange, red, pink and brown. The result is a strong colour palette filled with warmth. Explore vtwonen’s Spicy Terra colour inspiration
And that gives you plenty of inspiration to be a little more daring with colour outdoors too.

One colour, endless combinations
The easiest combination? Terracotta and green. From fresh grass to deep green leaves, plants make the warm colour of MAX stand out beautifully.
Want to add colour while keeping your outdoor space calm? Combine terracotta with taupe and ivory. Warm terracotta adds character, while taupe and ivory soften the overall look. Because all three colours have a warm, natural feel, they blend effortlessly with each other and with the greenery in your garden. vtwonen also refers to this as the Spiced Japandi trend.
For example, combine a terracotta MAX picnic table with stools in taupe and ivory, or mix chairs in different colours around one table. The result is an outdoor space that feels colourful without becoming too busy. Warm, natural and just a little different.
Prefer a more colourful outdoor space? Try combining terracotta with ochre yellow and petrol blue, then add a few eye-catching cushions and colourful pots to complete the look.
And in the end, one rule matters most: choose colours that make you happy. Your garden is not a showroom.
Bring the outdoors to life with terracotta
We deliberately chose to introduce all MAX furniture in terracotta. From the picnic table and garden set to individual chairs, benches, tables and the bistro set. Why? Because terracotta blends so naturally into the garden.
The warm, earthy colour feels right at home among greenery, flowers, wood and stone, while still adding just enough colour to give your outdoor space character. It also makes the different MAX pieces easy to combine. A terracotta bench next to the table, a few extra chairs, or the same colour repeated in different parts of the garden: everything naturally comes together as one cohesive look. Calm at the core, colour in the spotlight.
A cup of coffee in the morning sun. Lunch for two. A glass of wine once the kids are finally in bed. Or unexpected friends dropping by on a Tuesday evening. That is what we make our furniture for. Because the best moments outdoors do not always need to be planned. They simply happen.
MaximaVida. Outsiders for life.
