At MaximaVida, we make mood boards to visualise trends and determine the colours for the new season. This also helps us think about the setting in which we will then photograph our new products. We use all kinds of images to visualise a trend, such as colours, materials, items, and images from nature. We give the trends a name and describe the trend as extensive as possible, including colours, colour tones and use of materials.
Eclectic World
Trend Eclectic World
We are going on a world trip from our own home by combining furniture and accessories from Africa to Sweden. From tie dye from Africa to batik from Asia and a stripe from Europe, anything can be mixed as long as the colours match. The base of the home would be dark with shades like chocolate brown, brick red and indigo blue with pops of colour as accents. Unexpected combinations are made with different materials such as velvet, marble and retro prints, and many round shapes are used. Wallpapers with distinct patterns are mixed with modern art and crazy accessories and souvenirs.
New chairs
At MaximaVida, we are big fans of using colour in and around our home. Therefore, we use this trend, mood board images and the description of colours and materials to determine which new products we want to add to our range. To determine the new colours of our dining chairs, we used this trend Eclectic World. We therefore bring wooden bar stool Maxime this autumn in the colours stone red, green, warm orange and black, among others.
