Our Maxime chair is slim and slender, and because of its elegant curves very comfortable to sit on. This type of chair is also named the “Windsor” chair. In 1724 the technique that was used for making this chair was incorporated by carriage- and wheel builders in England, who were familiar with producing wooden spokes. The chairs were then distributed to London and in 1726 they already found their way to the USA.
The beautiful history of this chair, combined with its elegant shapes, were a good reason for us to revive this classic chair. Apart from the colour green, Maxime can also be bought in the colours stone red, ochre yellow, natural, warm orange, black and white.
