Our SGS-certified mahogany is 1 of the most durable hardwoods in the world. It is known for its beautiful brown colouring that can change from dark brown (heartwood) to light brown (outer ring). Characteristic features of a natural product, the real wood lover loves it.
So bear in mind that there may be big differences in colour when you receive the bench. In the accompanying photo you can see how mahogany ages evenly over time and the mutual colour difference thus gradually disappears.

Wood is a hygroscopic material that adapts to the climate of its surroundings. As a result, the humidity level and volume of the wood will continuously change. This can be accompanied by cracking and irregularities in the wood. It is therefore not possible for us to guarantee these natural characteristics.
So when buying your outdoor furniture, always take the above-mentioned characteristics of the beautiful natural product wood into account. If you are afraid of colour differences, cracks or irregularities in your wooden bench, it is better not to choose the natural product wood. Aluminium or polywood outdoor furniture will then better meet your expectations.
Our benches have undergone a long journey before arriving at our warehouse. To protect the bench from drying out during transport, they are treated with linseed oil. So your package may have some stains when you receive it. Nothing to worry about, this has everything to do with the care we take with our products, the oil will be gone after a few rain showers.
Delivery
The MaximaVida Rainbow bench is delivered as a box, measuring 132 x 65 x 15 cm. The box weighs 24 kg.
This product is generally delivered by our transporter TSN Groen. TSN will contact you to make a delivery appointment. There are various options that you can book for a small fee, such as the return of packaging material, a specific time window and evening or weekend delivery.
Construction
As you might have expected, this product comes as a kit. It is extremely simple to assemble. Make sure you hand-tighten all bolts, once the item is fully assembled you can tighten everything.
