Where many coffee table sets are made with roughly sawn mango wood, we have deliberately chosen A-grade pinewood veneer, this is much easier to clean! Veneer is a thin layer of wood that is applied onto board material. Because veneer is real wood, it is not distinguishable from solid wood. By applying veneer to your furniture, you create an original wood look. Veneer is a natural product, therefor no coffee table is the same.
Why do we use veneer for our table tops and not solid wood?
Solid wood has the characteristic to deform when there are temperature differences and changing moist percentages in your living room. Solid wooden table tops can easily crack, splinter or warp. With our veneer table tops you won’t have this problem. Furthermore, our table tops have been treated with a coating which makes them scratch-proof and they can withstand temperatures up to about 60 degrees. Good for placing hot cups of coffee or tea on your coffee table.
Please note! Our coffee table tops are made from the natural product wood. Therefore, colour differences or slight staining can never be excluded, especially with the colour black on which much is visible. When you are not keen on this, a plastic or metal coffee table might be a better option for you.
