Want to build your own façade bench or garden bench of approx. 150 cm? Then take a look at this beautiful set of natural oak boards. The boards are approx. 150 cm long, 12 cm wide and 2.5 cm thick.
The 3 boards have four pre-drilled holes to attach them to the base using carriage bolts. This set of boards is supplied without mounting materials. Looking for a complete façade bench? Material
All our oak bench seats are kiln-dried to approx. 18% moisture content. This largely reduces the natural movement of the wood. The oak boards for the seat are supplied untreated. You can choose to oil them or give them a cheerful color. If you use the boards untreated, tannic acid may be released from the oak wood.
Wood is a natural material and will move depending on its environment. Changes in humidity and/or temperature can cause wood to shrink or expand.
Significant changes may lead to cracks or warping. This natural behavior is part of using wood and is not considered a defect that can be remedied.
Wood movement (even in brand-new furniture!) typically presents in the following natural characteristics, which are not covered under warranty:
- Cracks in the wood
- Warping or twisting of the wood
- Resin seepage
- Mold formation
- Discoloration
