This beautiful round Lucca 75 cm table top is made of the low-maintenance HPL material. This round tabletop features a trendy terrazzo print that can hardly be distinguished from real terrazzo. This gives you the trendy look of real terrazzo without the disadvantages. Real terrazzo is heavy, fragile and difficult to clean. Stains never come out of real terrazzo. This is not a problem with HPL.

Material
Table leg Portland is a beautiful round table leg made of matt black coated metal. If the coating does not get damaged, you can also use it outdoors.
High pressure lamination (HPL) is a material that combines the advantages of wood and plastic. HPL consists of layers of paper and wood impregnated with resin. Curing the resin creates a hard, very easy-to-clean surface. HPL is therefore widely used in catering establishments but also for kitchen worktops and building facades. HPL tops can be used perfectly well outdoors.
HPL for outdoor use
When choosing your HPL tabletop for outdoor use, it is important to bear in mind that bright colours fade under the influence of all types of weather, just as dark colours fade. The less patterned and the lighter the colour, the more beautiful your tabletop will remain.
Patterns also fade in time. By wiping the table tops once a week with a dry cloth and rubbing them with vegetable oil, you can slow down this process.
HPL table tops are easy to clean because of its smooth, scratch-resistant surface. It is highly resistant to high and low temperatures. You can saw and drill in HPL just like in ordinary wood.
Delivery
The metal table leg comes in a 67 x 67 x 5 cm box that weighs 30 kg and one of 76 x 10 x 9 cm that weighs 4 kg.
This round HPL table top comes in a box of 80 x 80 x 2 cm and weighs about 8 kg.
This product is delivered with DPD. The DPD delivery driver will come to your door 1 time. Are you not at home and can't deliver to the neighbours? Then it depends on the size and weight of your parcel whether it will be presented again or sent to a parcel shop.
Do you have any comments for the driver (e.g. that the bell does not work or that it can be delivered to the neighbours)? Then hang a note on the front door. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to give the driver additional information before delivery. If you want to know more about shipping with DPD please contact us.
Assembly
Table leg Portland consists of 3 parts, an 8 mm thick solid metal base plate with a diameter of 65 cm, a connector of 70 cm and a 5 mm thick solid plate with a diameter of 52 cm for mounting the table top.
The parts are assembled with 3 M8x40mm socket head cap screws, for assembly of the table top, 6 6x25mm wood screws are supplied. A special spanner is supplied for mounting the 6 M8x40mm socket head screws.
Under the solid metal base plate are no fewer than 5 handy adjustable rubber levelling feet. You screw these levelling feet manually into the screw thread of the base plate.
Assembly of HPL table tops
Our HPL table tops are 12 mm thick. This 12 mm plus the thickness of the mounting plate of your base is the desired length of the screw to be used. Take a margin of 3 mm to make sure you do not screw through the top and do not forget to pre-drill. In case of intensive use, we recommend using mounting kit between the mounting plate and the leaf.
The easiest way to attach HPL table tops to a frame is with M3 double-sided tape. With just a few pieces of tape, your table top is firmly attached.
