Material
Outdoor furniture suffers greatly from increasingly extreme weather conditions. Each material has its pros and cons. Wood can crack and chip, aluminium is prone to scratches and dents, polywood is fragile and metal can rust.
When buying outdoor metal furniture, you should be aware that your piece of furniture may rust. This often only happens at the seams and welds where water remains and, unfortunately, cannot be prevented. At these points, it is simply not possible for the coating and/or zinc layer to adhere optimally. With a little maintenance, however, the rust spots have hardly any effect on
It is a wise to regularly clean your metal furniture with a soak of washing-up liquid. This way, dirt and other aggressive substances have less chance to damage the coating. Make sure you store your furniture dry or wipe it with a dry cloth after a rain shower, especially on the seams. This way, rust hardly has a chance. You can also treat your coated metal furniture with a car wax, giving the coated metal surface a protective water-repellent layer, just like your car.
If your garden furniture is damaged, we recommend treating the affected surface with Hammerite or a lacquer marker as soon as possible.
If you do not use your outdoor furniture for a longer period of time, it is wise to cover it with our garden furniture protective cover.
Delivery
The MaximaVida metal garden bench Max 120 cm orange comes in 2 boxes of: 120 x 47 x 11 weighs 20 kg and the other package is 66 x 67 x 8 cm and weighs 4 kg.
This product is delivered with DPD. The DPD deliverer will come to your door 1 time. Are you not at home and are you unable to deliver to the neighbours? Then it depends on the size and weight of your parcel whether it will be presented again or sent to a parcel shop.
Do you have any comments for the driver (e.g. that the bell does not work or that it can be delivered to the neighbours)? Then hang a note on the front door. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to give the driver additional information before delivery. If you want to know more about shipping with DPD please contact us.
Assembly
The bench is delivered as a simple construction kit, assembly takes about 15 minutes
