At most of the SMEs we know, and MaximaVida as well, the focus is on the long term and the continuing existence of the organisation. Investments that are being made are aimed at adding value in the long term. Think about, for example, if the maintenance of our premises, using LED lighting, building an ICT system that will enable us to move forward for years to come but above all,the relationshipswehavewith people.

Cooperation with partners
From family businesses in Europe to our favourite furniture makers in Asia, long-term relationships are also established with suppliers. We work with these producers because to us, they are the best in their field and they share our vision of cooperativework and product quality. We always visit our producers’ factories ourselves, so that we can see how they work with our own eyes. We work directly with our producers, without any intermediaries. For you, this means beautiful furniture for a reasonable price.
Knowledge of logistics
Because we have been bringing products from all over the world to the Netherlands for such a long time, weknow very well how the logistic world works.We do everything we can to optimise the flow of goods by making sure that the environmental impact is minimised and the shipping costs affordable. The smaller the packages, the lower the shipping costs will be which enables us to offer you a more affordable product.
That is why many of our productsare packed in individual parts, which means they are protected better against damage. This will always remain tricky, because packing them in individually also means you will need a lot of package material. We will therefore constantly look for ways to package our products as optimal as possible.We also look at possibilities to recycle or reuse the packaging material.
Free returns
You can probably understand, that when logistics are a such an important asset in developing and selling our products, we don’t get very excited about sending and returning the products free ofcharge. Transport actually costs money and has an impact on the environment. We think it is important that the costs regarding transport are transparent. We have also set up an entire maintenance department to prevent returns. Spare parts for all our products can be found here, so that if there is damage to a part of a product, it can be replaced easily.
We like to share our knowledge
We also do our very best to share all our knowledge about our products, the materials and applications with you, so you can orientate yourself before purchasing a product and make the right choice. Everything to ensure that we don’t have to send products back and forth and unnecessary write off damaged products.
