This elegant cross-leg round coffee table set Lucca of 62 cm and 49 cm, is made of the low-maintenance material HPL (high pressure lamination). This round table top has a trendy terrazzo print that is barely distinguishable from the real terrazzo. You get the trendy terrazzo look, but not the disadvantages. Real terrazzo is very heavy, fragile and is difficult to clean. You won’t be able to clean stains of real terrazzo. With HPL that is not an issue.
The large cross-leg coffee table has a diameter of 62 centimetres and is 47 centimetres high making it easy for you to reach your cup of tea or magazine. The smaller table has a diameter of 49 cm and is 40 cm high. When you don’t have a lot of space in your living room, you can easily slide the small table under the large table when you guests have left.
We see the terrazzo trend everywhere in interiors; from tiles to side tables to crockery. Terrazzo, or granite, is a speckled stone that is made from left over marble and granite that is cast in concrete. Some time ago it was invented as a solution for people who found marble too expensive. The name comes from the Italian word terrace. Nowadays, terrazzo is once again very popular with interior designers both for its looks and its sustainable character.

Material / HPL when used outside
High Pressure Lamination (HPL) is a material that has the advantages of wood and plastic combined. HPL consists of layers of paper and wood impregnated with resin. When the resin hardens, a very solid, smooth and easy to clean surface will appear. HPL is therefor often used in the catering industry, but is also used for kitchen worksurfaces and building surfaces. HPL can be used outdoors just fine.
When you choose to use HPL table tops outside, it is important that you keep in mind that bright colours will fade under the influence of difference weather influences. Just like dark colours will fade. The less patterned and the lighter the colour, the more beautiful your table top will remain.
Eventually, patterns will also fade. Cleaning the table tops weekly with a dry cloth and rubbing it in with vegetable oil will slow this process down.
HPL table tops can be cleaned easily due to its smooth and scratchproof surface. It is highly resistant to low and high temperatures. You can saw and drill in HPL, just like you can with ordinary wood.
All metal products that are used outside, can rust. Also the metal frame of your coffee table. When rust appears, you best start using Hammerite. Because the tubes of the coffee table frame is hollow inside, water can flow into the frame after it has rained. You can prevent this from happening by simply placing it under a shelter during a downpour.
Delivery
This product will be delivered with DPD. DPD will come to your door once. Are you not at home and is it not possible to deliver your parcel at your neighbours? Depending on the size and weight of your parcel, it will either be offered to you again or it will go to a parcel shop.
Would you like to leave a comment to the driver (for example that you doorbell does not work or that it can be delivered to the neighbours)? Then please leave a note at your front door. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to hand the driver extra information before delivery. If you would like to know more about DPD, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Assembly
The easiest wat to mount the HPL table tops onto the (coffee table) frame, is by using 3M double sided tape. With using just a few pieces of tape, your table top will be firmly attached to the frame. When you are using our cross-leg frames, you can also decide to place your table tops on loose.
