Material
Our SGS-certified mahogany is one of the most durable types of wood in the world. It is known for its beautiful brown colour, which is similar to teak.
Wood is a hygroscopic material that adapts to the climate of its surroundings. As a result, the moisture content and volume of the wood will constantly change. This can be accompanied by cracking and irregularities in the wood. It is therefore not possible for us to provide a guarantee for these natural properties.
When purchasing your outdoor furniture, always take into account the above characteristics of this beautiful natural product. If you are concerned about colour differences, cracks or irregularities in your wooden slatted bench, it is better not to choose natural wood. Aluminium or polywood outdoor furniture will better meet your expectations.
Our benches have travelled a long way before arriving at our warehouse. To protect the bench from drying out during transport, they are treated with linseed oil. Your package may therefore have some stains when you receive it. This is nothing to worry about; it is all part of the care we take with our products, and the oil will disappear after a few rain showers.
Delivery
The MaximaVida Budapest oil 165 cm garden bench is delivered in two boxes with the following dimensions: 175 x 13 x 14 cm, weighing 14 kg, and 80 x 65 x 7 cm, weighing 25 kg.
This product is delivered by DPD. The DPD delivery driver will come to your door once. If you are not at home and it is not possible to deliver it to your neighbours, depending on the size and weight of your parcel, it will either be redelivered or taken to a parcel shop.
Do you have any comments for the driver? (For example, that the doorbell is not working or that the parcel can be delivered to your neighbours?) Please leave a note on your front door. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide the driver with additional information before delivery. If you would like to know more about shipping with DPD, please contact us.
Assembly
The uprights are 66 cm deep, 3 cm wide and 75 cm high. The robust steel strip from which the uprights are made is 3 cm wide and no less than 8 mm thick. The uprights and the centre console have 17 holes in a row, spaced approximately 6 cm apart. There are two additional holes in each upright for the horizontal bar. There are holes at the bottom of the legs to anchor your bench to the ground, and thanks to the ergonomic curves of the legs and the centre console, you can sit comfortably!
