You can easily make your own terrace table, side table or plant table to go on your roof terrace or in your garden. The table top is made from the mythical wood kind Mahogany.
PLEASE NOTE! The mahogany table tops can vary in colour a fair bit from the colour that is shown on the pictures attached. Eventually, the table tops will get a beautiful grey colour when they have been outside. If you don't want this, you can treat the table tops with wood oil.
Mahogany grows in Africa and Asia and is so popular due to its beautiful colour shades. They can vary from light yellow to red-brown. The exceptional beauty of this type of wood gives warmth, character and a long live to houses and furniture which makes Mahogany the continued choice of consumers as well as architects and craftsmen.

Material
This set of table topsVancouver is handmade and therefore unique. When you are not yet very familiar with the (outdoor) use of the natural product wood, then we would love share the information below, before you decide to purchase this product. This is to avoid disappointment and discussions after purchase.
Wood is a natural product that can shrink and expand. This is the result of a changing moisture content. This is also know as the ‘working of wood’. The more humid the air, the more likely that the wood will expand. When the humidity in the air is constantly high, mould might develop. When the air is very dry on the other hand, wood may shrink and crack. This natural working of the wood is part of a wooden product and is therefore not a complained that can be remedied.
The working of wood (also with new furniture!) usually shows itself in the following natural features for which no guarantee can be given:
- Cracking of the wood
- Bending and warping of the wood
- Resin formation
- Mould formation
- Discolouration
Wood is quite a deliberate choice of people that are aware of the features mentioned above, and whom appreciate the charm of a natural product.
Does this not apply to you? Then it is probably best not to choose a wooden product, especially for outdoor use. MaximaVida aluminium- or plastic garden furniture might be a better match for you. If metal garden furniture is used outside permanently, rust formation can never be ruled our 100%. We therefore recommend ordering a lacquer marker at the same time, damages can then be touched up immediately.
Delivery
This set of table tops will be delivered in a box of 79 x 78 x 10 cm and weighs 13 kg.
This product will be delivered with DPD. DPD will come to your door once. Are you not at home and is it not possible to deliver your parcel at your neighbours? Depending on the size and weight of your parcel, it will either be offered to you again or it will go to a parcel shop.
Would you like to leave a comment to the driver (for example that you doorbell does not work or that it can be delivered to the neighbours)? Then please leave a note at your front door. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to hand the driver extra information before delivery. If you would like to know more about DPD, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Assembly
The only thing you need to do is attaching the table legs you like under the table tops and your table is ready to be used!
