Product information
The timeless classical wooden flooring with herringbone pattern is still very popular. Centuries ago, this complicated pattern was placed in homes of wealthy people. The pattern matches several interior styles and is use often in homes. We therefor also see this herringbone design in table tops and coffee table tops.
This modern cross-frame coffee table Copenhagen of 49 cm is made from the low-maintenance material HPL. This set of coffee tables has a modern herringbone design which is barely distinguishable from real wood. You get the trendy look of real wood, but not the disadvantages. Real wood will discolour, is difficult to clean and must be maintained with oil. Stains that appear can barely be removed from wood. This is not an issue with HPL.
The cross-frame table has a diameter of 49 centimetre and is 40 centimetre high so you can reach you cup of tea or magazine with ease.
Why are we so happy with our herringbone look cross-frame coffee tables?
- Fashionable herringbone design
- Easy to clean smooth and hard surface
- Elegant and light cross-frame
- Can also be used outside
- Assembled within 5 minutes
Please note! Our very sturdy executed coffee table sets are delivered as an easy assemble kit. Once the sets have been assembled, they are no longer new and we can therefore not accept them as a return. We have therefore mentioned the sizes clearly and detailed with each set so that you can measure the table before purchase and decide if the size is right for you. By doing this, we can prevent unnecessary and valuable returns.
Extra information
Material
High Pressure lamination (HPL) is a material that combines the benefits of wood and plastic. HPL consists of layers of paper and wood that is impregnated with resin. When the resin hardens, a solid, very easy to clean surface appears. HPL is therefor often used in the catering industry but also for kitchen worktops and building facades. HPL can also be used outside perfectly fine.
Assembly of HPL table tops
The easiest way to mount the HPL table tops onto a (coffee table) frame, is by using M3 double sided tape. When using just a few pieces of tape, your table top will be firmly attached to the frame.
Using your coffee table outdoors
When choosing HPL table tops for outdoor use, it is important that you keep in mind that bright colours will fade under the influence of weather conditions just like dark colours will become pale. The less patterns and the lighter the colour the more beautiful your table top will remain.
Patterns will also fade eventually. This process can be slowed down by cleaning the table once a week with a cloth and vegetable oil.
All metal products that are being used outside may start to rust, also the metal of your coffee table frame. Rust can be treated with Hammerite. The tubes of the metal frames are hollow, therefore water can flow into the tubes after a downpour. You can prevent this by temporarily placing the table under a shelter during a downpour.
