Choosing your coffee table

Are you placing your coffee table inside or outside? Or should the table be multifunctional? And what shape should your coffee table have? You can choose for a round coffee table, but in some interiors, square or rectangular is a better choice. And how many tables would you like to have? Sets such as our Chicago tables can be combined very well. You can choose to put two or three tables together, or have one big one. Add a side table and you have all the space for the drinks!

Once you know how many tables you would like and which shape the coffee table should have, you can choose from different materials for the tables legs and table tops. We use veneer tops for some of our coffee tables. Veneer is a thin layer of wood applied to sheet material such as MDF. The veneer layer is real wood and often indistinguishable from solid wood if processed correctly.

Besides veneer, we also use HPL for our tops. High pressure lamination (HPL) is a material that combines the advantages of wood and plastic. HPL consists of layers of paper and wood that are impregnated with resin. Curing the resin creates a hard, very easy-to-clean surface. HPL is therefore widely used in the hospitality industry and for kitchen worktops and building facades, but is also perfect for coffee tables. Our HPL tops have beautiful terrazzo and marble-look prints, all in keeping with the latest trends and combine beautifully with a modern gold base! You can also use HPL tops outdoors.

Coffee tables for outdoor use

We all know the coffee tables for indoor use. Even though finding the perfect one can be a challenge, the choice is very large. But what about outdoor coffee tables? You also want to be able to have a nice drink, a cup of tea or read you book there in the summer.

That is why at MaximaVida we also have a coffee table range for outdoor use: the Vancouver coffee tables. The table top is made of mahogany wood. Mahogany can be found in Africa and Asia and is so very popular because of its beautiful colour shades, that go from light yellow to red brown. How do I know if the item of my choice is in stock?

For each item, you will find the actual stock numbers on the product detail page to the right of the price.

The item that I would like to order is currently not in stock. Can I order or reserve it?

You can leave your e-mail address with the product of your choice and you will be notified automatically when it is back in stock! You will also see an indiaction of the expected delivery time under this entry field. So you know approximately when you can expect to hear from us. Unfortunately, it is not possible to order or reserve an item if it is out of stock.

Where can I find the dimensions of an item?

You can find the dimensions of our products on the bottom left of the product detail page under the tab Product features. Are you looking for the dimensions of the packaging? Then look under Extra Information under Delivery for the exact dimensions.

Can I also collect my order?

It is also possible to collect your order at our pick-up point in Groenlo. After you have placed your order through our webshop, you will receive an email from us once your order is ready for pick-up. Don’t forget to bring lashing straps, blankets and other materials to get you newly purchased items home without being damaged.

How do I know if my order will fit in my car?

You have chosen to collect your order from us in Groenlo. To be sure whether the item you ordered will fit in your car or whether you need to arrange a trailer, we have listed the dimensions and weight of the package in the "extra information" tab next to the product. So please check beforehand whether the box/boxes will fit to avoid disappointment.

Where can I find the assembly instructions of an article?

We have created assembly instructions for most items. You will find these at the bottom left of the product detail page under the Assembly Instructions tab. For some articles we have also made an assembly instruction video. You will find these under the same tab.
Check all parts before you begin assembly. Always report damage before assembly.

I’ve assembled my round coffee table set, but it seems crooked. What could be wrong?

Our coffee table frames are precisely manufactured using CNC technology, which makes deviations of even a few millimeters highly unlikely. In most cases, this issue occurs because the bottom ring is not fully aligned. The solution is usually simple: rotate the bottom ring a quarter turn, and everything should line up straight.
