Beautiful 28 mm thick wooden table top made of 4-star quality Germain spruce wood. Because of its width of 80 cm, this table top can be used as a comfortable dining table or sales table in a shop. For pleasant use, the edges of the wooden table top are curved. When this table topt is combined with our metal or aluminium table legs, you can make your own table for a very low price!

Material
Why spruce wood and not pine wood? In general, spruce wood had smaller knots and it is harder than pine wood. Because of the smaller knots, you will have a smoother surface which is easier with varnishing the table and nicer in use.
Wood works, the degree in which this happens depends on where it is placed. As a result of changes in humidity and/or temperature, wood either shrinks or expands.
Large differences can lead to cracking and warping of the wood, that is why an even temperature and humidity is important. (A good humidity level is between 50 and 60%). Tools to ensure a consistent humidity level indoors would be a tray of water in front of your heater, or a humidifier. Please make sure your wooden product will never be placed against a heater or air conditioner!

Which height should I use for the table legs/frame? The average/desired table height is 75-80 cm. If you buy a set of hairpin or industrial slanting legs of 74 cm, you get the ideal height of 76.8 cm when you use this spruce wooden table top.

This table top will be delivered in a box with the following measurements; 125 x 85 x 5 cm and weighs 13 kg.
