Are you about to order our beautiful Adirondack furniture? We would first like to give you some advice about mahogany wood. Our SGS-certified mahogany wood is one of the most sustainable kind of wood that exists.
Wood is a hygroscopic material that adjusts itself to the climate of its environment. This results in a continuously change of the moisture content and the volume of the wood. This can lead to cracking and irregularities in the wood. It is therefore not possible to guarantee the layer of paint when the furniture is used outside.
Please keep the typical features of wood in mind when you decide to purchase garden furniture that is made from this beautiful product of nature. When you dont want colour differences, cracks or irregularities in your chair, then it might be best not to choose this product of nature, wood. Aluminium or polywood garden furniture will meet your expectations better.
Our chairs have made a long journey before they arrived in our warehouse. To protect the chairs from drying out, they have been treated with linseed oil. This can result in staining on the carboard packaging that is around your furniture. It is nothing to worry about, this has everything to do with the care that we spent on our furniture. The oil will wash away after a few showers.
Delivery
Our Adirondack twin-sit shall be delivered as a construction kit in 1 box. This box weighs 31 kilos and has the following measurements; 103 x 96 x 26 cm. To keep the delivery costs as low as possible, this item shall be delivered on a pallet and shall be placed next to the tailgate of the truck. This means that it is your responsibility to take the twin sit to the place where you want it to be. Do you have special wishes in relation to the transportation? Please let us know before ordering and we will try to help you as much as we can. Please bear in mind that this could mean that there will be extra costs involved.
Assemble
To make sure that you can assemble your Adirondack furniture correctly in one go, it is best not to fully tighten all the bolts and nuts straight away. By doing this, you can get all the different parts on its correct place. When you have assembled the furniture completely, you can tighten all the bolds and nuts and your furniture is solid and strong!
