For more than 75 years, the Adirondack chair is a very well-known chair in the United Stated and Canada. In those days, the rich industrials from New York had a country residence in the beautiful natural park Adirondack. In the summertime they came here with their families to enjoy the countryside. In the wintertime their staff didn’t have many jobs to do, so in the winter of 1929 some carpenters designed the Adirondack chair. The name of the area, became the name of the chair.
Nowadays you can find this chair everywhere; from the beaches of Ibiza to the veranda of a log cabin in Canada. After a long period of testing, we succeeded to reproduce the so characteristic ergonomic curves and wide armrests made from wood, in the low maintenance material HDPE plastic.
