Our Maxime chair is slim and slender, and because of its elegant curves very comfortable to sit on. This type of chair is also named the “Windsor” chair. In 1724 the technique that was used for making this chair was incorporated by carriage- and wheel builders in England, who were familiar with producing wooden spokes. The chairs were then distributed to London and in 1726 they already found their way to the USA.
The beautiful history of this chair, combined with its elegant shapes, were a good reason for us to revive this classic chair. Apart from the colour ochre yellow, Maxime can also be bought in the colours stone red, green, natural, warm orange, black and white.

Material
The Maxime chair is produced in Europe and made of European beech wood. The chair is fully assembled, which means you only have to take them out of its box when they arrive. We have already attached the floor protectors so they won’t damage your floor.
The Maxime chair has a seat height of 47 cm and is therefore suitable for every dining table. The saddle-shaped seat has extra curves which makes this chair perfectly comfortable.
Maxime is made from beech wood, a natural product. Please keep in mind that irregularities in the wood or paint can happen. When you don’t approve of that, it might be better not to choose a wooden chair. In that case, plastic or aluminium would be a better option for you.
Delivery
To keep the delivery costs as low as possible, the products shall be delivered on a pallet and ‘next’ to the tail gate of the truck. It is your responsibility to make sure that your products will be placed on the right spot in your home or garden. Do you have special requests? Please let us know before ordering en we will try to match your preferences. Please keep in mind that extra costs might be involved.
