The Adirondack chair probably is the most famous designer chair for in your garden. The chair is very loved and currently can be found in nearly every garden. Did you actually know that this wooden garden chair was originated in Westport, in the Adirondack mountain range of the United States?
Nowadays this chair appears everywhere; from the beaches of Ibiza to the terrasses of a log cabin in Canada. The ergonomically shaped backrest and seat, the wide armrests make this a very comfortable chair; a true classic. The footstool ensures extra comfort or your legs and aligns perfectly with matching Adirondack chair. With the matching side table you always have your dink and newspaper nearby! Material
Are you about to order our beautiful Adirondack chair? Then we would like to give you some advice on this beautiful product of nature; Mahogani. Our SGS-certified mahogany is 1 of the most sustainable hardwood kinds there is. Wood is a hygroscopic material that adjusts itself to the climate of its environment. This results in a continuously change of the moisture content and the volume of the wood. This can lead to cracks and irregularities in the wood and its layer of paint (please check the photo’s in our general terms and conditions).
Therefore, it is not possible for us to give a guarantee on the paint layer when this product is being used outside.
When you are afraid of colour differences, a tear or irregularities in the layer of paint, then perhaps wood is not the right material for you, but instead aluminium or polywood would be a better choice for you. You can easily protect your painted eye-catcher from different weather types by covering it up when you don’t use it.
Delivery
Have you ordered this set? Then you will receive 4 boxes in total. Two of the boxes weigh 20 kg and have the following dimensions: 96 x 52 x 23 cm.
The other 2 boxes weigh 12 kg and measure 65 x 55 x 15 cm and the other measures 58 x 55 x 15 cm.
This product will be delivered with DPD. DPD will come to your door once. Are you not at home and is it not possible to deliver your parcel at your neighbours? Depending on the size and weight of your parcel, it will either be offered to you again or it will go to a parcel shop.
Would you like to leave a comment to the driver (for example that you doorbell does not work or that it can be delivered to the neighbours)? Then please leave a note at your front door. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to hand the driver extra information before delivery. If you would like to know more about DPD, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Assembly
To ensure that you can assemble the Adirondack chair correctly in one go, it is best not to tighten the bolts and nuts too much at once. This will leave some space which means you can easily get all the parts in the right places. Have you assembled the entire bench? Then you can tighten all the bolts and nuts which then results in a sturdy chair!
