Hairpin legs are originally from the United States, where Henry P. Glass was ordered to design a modern garden set after the Second World War. His design proved to be the beginning of a new minimalistic style which was quickly adapted by Scandinavian furniture designers.
Hairpin furniture is back and once more blows over from the USA to Europe. Our hairpin table legs are popular among DIY fanatics and professional furniture manufacturers. The furniture legs invoke a mild nostalgic retro feeling that fits in any interior and exterior decoration.

The hairpin table leg is made from no less than 12 mm thick solid steel. To achieve extra sturdiness, we have fitted the hairpin with a 10 cm x 10 cm mounting plate with four screw holes (picture 2).
Tip from us: Not sure if the hairpin legs will fit? Please measure it BEFORE purchase whether 4 square metal plates of 10 x 10 cm will fit under the table top so that we won’t have to send parcels back and forth unnecessarily.

Material
This set of black hairpin legs consists of 4 pieces of 40 cm. Because of this height, they are ideal to be used underneath a cabinet, flower planters and tree trunks. This height is also ideal for a bench. For higher tables and side tables, you can also use our 74 cm high black hairpin sets.
Delivery
The MaximaVida hairpin legs Seattle 40 cm coated black are delivered in one box with the following measurements; 42 x 17 x 16 cm, weighing 4,4 kg.
This product will be delivered with DPD. DPD will come to your door once. Are you not at home and is it not possible to deliver your parcel at your neighbours? Depending on the size and weight of your parcel, it will either be offered to you again or it will go to a parcel shop.
Would you like to leave a comment to the driver (for example that you doorbell does not work or that it can be delivered to the neighbours)? Then please leave a note at your front door. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to hand the driver extra information before delivery. If you would like to know more about DPD, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Assembly
The holes in the mounting plate 10 x 10 cm are suitable for 4 screws of 4,5 or 5. The length depends on the thickness of the material you are planning to use. Of course, it is wise to use screws that are as long as possible.
