The large table top of the round picnic table has a parasol hole of 5 cm in the middle of the table, allowing everyone to sit comfortable out of the sun. Another benefit is that you wont need a parasol base. Due to the size of the table top, this picnic table is very suitable for the catering industry. For this table, we have 5cm thick picnic table cushions available.
Tip from us: extent the lifespan of your picnic table by ordering our garden cover of 120 cm that was especially designed for this picnic table. By using a garden cover you also keep your table free form leaves, bird droppings and branches.

Material
Our MaximaVida picnic table Tallinn is made of wood. If you are not yet familiar with the (outdoor) use of the natural product wood, we would like to give you the following information
before purchase. This is to avoid disappointment and discussion after purchase.
Wood is a natural product that can either shrink or expand. This is caused by the variety of the moisture content. This is also known as ‘the working of wood’. When the air is very damp, there is a high chance that wood will expand. If the air humidity is continuously high, it is possible that moulds will start showing on your wooden furniture. When the air is very dry, there is a large possibility that the wood will shrink and tear. This mentioned above is a natural effect of wood, and is not a complained that can be solved.
This natural effect of wood (also with brand new furniture) shows in the following features on which no guarantee can be given:
- Cracks or tears in the wood
- Bending and twisting of the wood
- Resin
- Mould
- Discolouring
Knots can fall out, they can also leave a yellow colour behind which is caused by resin. For this reason, large knots are removed from our products before they are painted. The opening that is left behind, gets filled up with wood filler. As you can see on the picture attached, these former knots can start showing when the wood starts to ‘work’.
Wood is therefore a deliberate choice of people that are familiar with the typical features and charm of this beautiful product of nature, and whom embrace these features.

Delivery
The MaximaVida round picnic table Tallinn 140 cm will be delivered as a construction kit and shall be delivered in 4 boxes with the following measurements; 140 x 140 x 6 cm, 117 x 60 x 13 cm, 117 x 46 x 13 cm and 110 x 55 x 13 cm. The total weight of this table is 123 kg.
This product usually is delivered by our carrier TSN Groen. TSN will contact you to make an appointment for delivery. There are various extra options that you can book for a small fee, such as the return of packaging material, a specific time window and evening or weekend delivery.
Assembly
To ensure that you can assemble the picnic table correctly in one go, it is best not to tighten the bolts and nuts too much at once. This will leave some space which means you can easily get all the parts in the right places. Have you assembled the entire table? Then you can tighten all the bolts and nuts which then results in a sturdy picnic bench!
