Material
HDPE is the world’s most used plastic. It can be made in different colours and has, as opposed to real wood, a low-maintenance character. This material is resistant to mould and insects and it does not splinter. HDPE plastic can withstand approximately 80 degrees of heat and easily recyclable.
HDPE stands for High Density Polyethylene. This type of polyethylene owes its high density to the production conditions. Thanks to this higher density, HDPE is harder than other types of polyethylene and therefore vert suitable for intensive use, such as furniture.
One of the features of HDPE is that it can hardly be attacked chemically. Bacteria and other dirt have difficulties attaching to this polyethylene. The maintenance of a HDPE chair is limited to regular cleaning, which can be done simply and low budget with HG plastic furniture restorer.
Delivery
The Adirondack chair and footstool will be delivered as easy DIY kits and comes in 4 boxes. The chairs weigh 23 kg and the measurements are 91 x 57 x 17 cm. The footstools weigh 11 kg and measures 62 x 32 x 54 cm and the table weighs 6 kg and measures 51 x 41 x 13 cm.
This products will be delivered with DPD. DPD will come to your door once. Are you not at home and is it not possible to deliver your parcel at your neighbours? Depending on the size and weight of your parcel, it will either be offered to you again or it will go to a parcel shop.
Would you like to leave a comment to the driver (for example that you doorbell does not work or that it can be delivered to the neighbours)? Then please leave a note at your front door. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to hand the driver extra information before delivery. If you would like to know more about DPD, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Assembly
To ensure that you can assemble the Adirondack chair set properly in one go, it is best not to tighten the bolts and nuts too much at once. This will leave some space so that you can easily get all the parts in place. Have you assembled the entire Adirondack chair? Then tighten all the nuts and bolts so your chair is firmly in place!
